Justin Bieber Arrested Rumors Sweep Internet, but What's the Deal?

Was Justin Bieber arrested? Could it be true? Everyone's favorite 16 year-old, bubble-gum-flavored Canadian pop sensation, Justin Bieber, arrested? Say it ain't so! * July 26 update below on new Justin Bieber arrested rumors!

Relax: it ain't so! Justin Bieber, the young singer who reached his fame through performance videos his mom posted on YouTube and who has incited near riots with the Bieber Fever his presence brings, is squeaky clean.

It is unknown how exactly the 'Justin Bieber arrested' rumor got started, but thankfully, the bad-boy Bieber news appears to be just that: a completely false rumor.

New, Updated July 26 Justin Bieber Arrested News Below!

Teen heart-throb Justin Bieber got his start a few years back when marketing executive Scott 'Scooter' Braun saw Bieber's style, and had him record demo tapes. Braun later became the young singer's manager. A meeting with R&B star, Usher, and a record deal with Island Records, sealed the deal: Justin Bieber was a star. And a cute one, at that.

With all the bad news about celebrity drug problems, sexual indiscretions and young stars perhaps growing up a bit too quickly, it's nice to know the Justin Bieber arrested news is bogus. Young talents need to work hard to protect their candy-coated image, and Justin Bieber's remains intact.

One interesting bit of recent Bieber news that may be confusing matters is that it wasn't too long ago that Justin Bieber's manager was arrested. Justin Bieber's manager, Scott 'Scooter' Braun, was arrested by police back in April 2010, for apparently interfering with crowd control efforts at a New York mall appearance by the teen pop phenom.

Justin Bieber's dad has also had reported run-ins with the law; but (knock on wood), Justin Bieber's arrest record is currently clear.

*** July 26: Justin Bieber arrested rumors were swirling online again today, but this time, it's sort of true! Justin Bieber will appear on the hit crime-drama show CSI soon, and Twittered a photo of himself in a red jumpsuit and handcuffs . So, relax: the Justin Bieber arrested photo you may have seen today was all a part of the CSI filming!

  • Patti6/6/2010

He's a cute, talented kid...but he's just a kid. Why doesn't he plan a performance on the Gulf coast so the whole world can see how inadequate we are at taking care of our environment here in the States. Disgraceful!
