Justin Bieber Haircut: Do Fans Love it or Hate It?

Aida Ekberg
The Justin Bieber haircut of 2011 has just made its internet debut. But do fans love Justin Bieber's new haircut, or are they hoping that he grows the Bieber bowl back?

The photos of Justin Bieber's new haircut were posted on TMZ, and the pint-sized pop star's new 'do is definitely different. Apparently Justin Bieber just felt like changing things up a bit, but celebrities do need to beware impulsive haircuts; the horrible hair extensions Britney Spears has been wearing ever since she shaved her head in a moment of passion still serve as reminders to always think through a new hairdo.

Plus the website "Lesbians Who Look Like Justin Bieber" is going to have to undergo a radical change with Justin Bieber's new haircut making all the lovely ladies on the site irrelevant now (why didn't you think about the lesbians, Justin Bieber, why!?). And then there's always the possibility that the little zomBiebers obsessed with every little move that Justin Bieber makes will target his stylist for changing the pop star's iconic look. Or perhaps they'll target the guy from Rascal Flatts pretending to murder Justin Bieber's mane in the TMZ photos or blame Selena Gomez for making Justin Bieber get a haircut (that little hair-hating harlot!).

So what do Justin Bieber's rabid fans think of his new haircut? Well, while it's fun to troll Twitter for hours collecting misspelled, screamy tweets from the millions of them online, it's easier to check out TMZ's poll asking if the haircut is an improvement. As of right now, 73 percent of voters believe that Justin Bieber's haircut is an improvement with 48,578 votes counted. A poll on The Hollywood Gossip also has 64 percent of voters loving it (although only 536 Beliebers have voted on his hair there).

And if Justin Beiber cutting his hair wasn't enough excitement for his fans, his movie is also getting cut. According to USA Today, a special "fan cut" of Justin Bieber's movie entitled "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never Director's Fan Cut" will hit theaters for a week. This version of the movie will include some of the most requested footage from fans, including more of Justin Bieber's friends, home life new songs, and performances. In short, it's a great way for producers to collect more of the allowances of teen girls. The new director's fan cut of "Never Say Never" hits theaters Friday, but Justin Bieber's new haircut is already playing on an internet site near you.
