Justin Bieber- Never Say Never- Movie Review- CJ's Flick Picks

Charles Johnson
I must admit I truly never planned on seeing the movie Justin Bieber: Never Say Never. I am a 46 year old father of 5 and grand-father of 5. My grand-daughter Brianna is 11 years old and for years has been a huge Justin Bieber fan. At the end of every text I have received from her for years it has said "I love Justin Bieber".

I personally have never listened to his music, and knew nothing at all about Justin Bieber. But when Brianna wanted to see this movie she knew who to call. I always try to take advantage of opportunities to get closer to my family. I have went on numerous daddy daughter dates, and now even grandpa grand-daughter dates. I have 5 daughters, 3 grand-daughters, and 2 grandsons. So Brianna called me, because she knows grandpa goes to the movies all the time, and loves spending time with his girls. So on valentines day my grand-daughter Brianna was my date to go see Justin Bieber: Never Say Never.

The theater was filled with many young girls most with JB marker-ed on there checks. They where all singing to the songs, and seemed so awe-stuck. But I don't think I have seen as many smiles in a movie audience in years. With entertainers performing in concerts with Justin Bieber like Boys II Men, Miley Cyrus, Sean Kingston, Ludacris, Usher, and even Jaden Smith in his first concert performance ever, the movie was filled with good music.

This movie follows Justin Bieber from his humble beginnings to present with footage from his 2010 concert tour. So it is filled with music. It takes you behind the scenes of what goes into his concerts and music life. But also gives anyone in the audience a good sense of who this young man is, what he stands for, his family influence, and his sincere love for all his fans. I was totally impressed!

I walked into a movie theater not knowing anything about this young man, and walked out with a true respect for Justin Bieber. If my grand-daughter has to have a crush on a celebrity I honestly could not have picked a better young man for her. He is dedicated, hard working, caring, goal oriented, positive, and talented beyond belief! To be honest I am probably a Justin Bieber fan myself after learning about his life and getting a small glimpse into who Justin Bieber is becoming. I feel honored to know that there are young people out there in the world like him. So if your daughters or grand-daughters are one of the millions of loyal fans in love with Justin Bieber believe me with all the bad influence choices out there for these young ladies, they could do a whole lot worse than Justin Bieber for a crush.

Now after paying respect to this young man let me tell you what I thought about this movie. I found it to be one of the most positive documentaries I have ever seen! It is rated G so you will not hear any bad language. It is filled with humor, and very good music. And what I like the best was all the millions of smiles on the fans filmed in this movie. You have just got to love a movie that is filled with smiles.

If you have a daughter, niece, sister, grand-daughter, or any young preteen or teenage girl who is close to you that is one of the huge numbers of totally committed Justin Bieber fans then personally take them to see this movie. They will love it! And I am willing to bet you will enjoy not only watching the movie, but their face as it glows with a beaming smile, before, during, and even after this movie. This is a family bonding opportunity you should not miss!

I think this is one of the most positive films I have seen in along time.
I highly recommend it!

I rate this 5 out of 5 stars

Please remember this is just the opinion of a life long movie fan, a father, and grandfather.

Interesting. Had no intentions of seeing this, but just might if only to see how he did start out. For the life of me I can't figure out how he became such a huge star. To me it seemed like he popped out of nowhere with instant stardom...and I don't know why. In many of the solo songs I've heard, he doesn't sound all that great. His best songs are usually duos with other famous singers because they help to carry him with harmony. I like some of his work, but his fame still baffles me.
