Justin Bieber Partners with Nicole by OPI to Create Nail Polish Line

When it comes to a name OPI Nail polish takes it to new levels each season. The categories set the theme of the colors and OPI moves on from there. This fall and winter season is no different with the Swiss collection that is running the gamut with Yodel Me On My Cell, So Hot It Berns, I'm Suzy & I'm a Chocoholic and Give Me The First Dance. Surprisingly, Give Me The First Dance is the name of one of the nail polishes in the Justin Bieber created line called One Less Lonely Girl. Bieber has partnered with Nicole by OPI to create his own line of fingernail polish which includes fourteen shades.

Oddly, when the news was released many stopped to ask "what does a sixteen year old boy want with nail polish?" Though there are a multitude of reasons; from a business stand point it is no different than any other celebrity endorsed product that is targeting a fan base. For example kitchenware can be found by both Emeril Lagassi and Paula Dean. Even IFBB Pro Bodybuilder Debi Laszewski has a line of dog clothing called Haute Dog Threads so why should Bieber be any different? In his case, Bieber is targeting his fan base which consists of tweens, teenagers and mothers of his fans.

As of yet the line consists of six shades that will be sold exclusively for Wal-Mart in December. The shades will range in an assortment of colors which reflect his hit songs. The shades are One Less Lonely Glitter (pale purple), Prized Possession Purple (grape), Give Me The First Dance (silver), Me + Blue (metallic blue), O.M.B! (metallic red) and Step 2 the Beat of My Heart (heart shaped specks). An additional eight shades of Bieber's nail polish will be available at Wal-Mart in January while Target and Ulta will begin to carry the line in February.

Though the prices have not yet been set Nicole By OPI's average cost is $8.00.
