Justin Bieber Shellshocked by First Grammy Nominations

Justin Bieber appeared shocked by his first Grammy nominations, which were announced during the "Grammy Nominations Concert Live!" Wednesday night. The award ceremony will be held in 2011.

Bieber, 16, is nominated for Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album for "My World 2.0."

"How does it feel to be a Grammy nominee?" host LL Cool J asked the Canadian pop star, who via satellite from his current tour in London.

"It feels amazing, I can't believe I'm in this position, I want to thank all my fans, I want to thank the, um, the board...I don't know what to say," Bieber said.

When LL Cool J asked him how it felt to be a superstar Bieber took a while to answer.

"It feels good?" he said. "I don't think of myself as a superstar but just a regular person living my dream, you know?"

He later wrote on Twitter he was so stunned by the nominations he could barely do the interview.

"Ok kinda shellshock. Well not kinda...totally shellshock. Don't even remember what I said. #HOLYCRAP"

Of his two Grammy nominations, Justin Bieber will likely be a favorite for the Best New Artist category when the Grammy Awards roll around in 2011.
