Justin Bieber Someday Perfume: Holiday Gift Idea 2011

A few months ago, when I heard Justin Bieber had launched a celebrity perfume called Justin Bieber Someday, I was skeptical. I wondered if Bieber, the music superstar, pop culture icon and boyfriend of Selena Gomez, created an overbearing celebrity scent just to cash in on his cult following. I was pleasantly surprised to discover this new fragrance is highly wearable, and all the proceeds from the perfume go to charity. Justin Bieber Someday: My Experience

I'm not a Justin Bieber fan, and I'm not really familiar with his music, so I didn't expect to like Justin Bieber Someday perfume. Bieber is one of the biggest names in pop music with tons of devoted tween fans, so I assumed his new fragrance would only be of interest to the younger set. I couldn't have been more wrong! When I tried this perfume, I was pleasantly surprised to discover it has a light, charming scent that will appeal to both girls and women.

Justin Bieber Someday is a subtle, great smelling fragrance, not as overpowering or obnoxious as some of the other celebrity perfumes I've sampled over the years. This perfume is a "fruity floral" with notes of pear, mandarin, musks, vanilla and jasmine, and the resulting mix is delicate and feminine. So many celebrity perfumes these days pour on the sex appeal in a way that can sometimes feel inappropriate; however, I appreciate the classy, tasteful, unabashed femininity of Bieber's new fragrance.

The romantic scent of Justin Bieber Someday is complemented by the pretty bottle, topped with pink and red hearts in bloom and accented by a removable, crystal charm. In my opinion, any girl (especially a Justin Bieber fan) would be delighted to receive a gift of this perfume, and women will also appreciate the lady-like, inviting scent that is fun to wear day or night. My seventy-seven year old mother smelled Bieber's perfume and thought it was lovely; I'm half her age and I also liked Someday, as it reminds me a bit of a girly fragrance I wore in my youth called "Love's Baby Soft."

This celebrity perfume would also be a thoughtful holiday gift idea because it was created to support some great causes. One hundred percent of the net profits from sales of Justin Bieber Someday fragrance go to Bieber's favorite charities including Pencils of Promise and the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
