Scholastic Book Fairs show up at just about every elementary school in the country one to two times per year. Each year the Scholastic Book Fair has a theme which includes the big books of the season. In the fall of 2010, Scholastic Book Fairs are featuring more popular culture titles than in many years past. Justin Beiber, Taylor Swift, and iCarly, among others, are featured in the Scholastic Book Fair flyer and are destined to be top choices for students seeking books about their favorite pop culture icons.

Justin Bieber: His World, is sure to be very popular particularly among female readers at the fall Scholastic Book Fair. Justin Bieber: His World features fun facts about the singing sensation as well as plenty of full color photographs. Justin Bieber fans in elementary schools everywhere will be flocking to the fall Scholastic Book Fair to get their hands on a $3.99 copy of Justin Bieber: His World.

Taylor Swift: Her Song, was actually featured on the spring 2010 Scholastic Book Fair. Because Taylor Swift: Her Song was such a hit with readers in elementary schools throughout the country, the book is back with other popular culture titles for fall. Taylor Swift: Her Song also sells for just $3.99 and is a basic biography of Taylor Swift's life complete with color photographs, similar to the Justin Bieber biography.

The fall 2010 Scholastic Book Fair will feature a variety of iCarly books. iCarly books range from traditional chapter books to non-fiction books all about the show and the show's stars. Young fans of iCarly can read all about her, and actress Miranda Cosgrove, in this selection of books on the fall Scholastic Book Fair.

Other popular culture icons including SpongeBob Squarepants, Phineas and Ferb, Miley Cyrus and more will be found at the fall Scholastic Book Fair among traditional book characters such as the Wimpy Kid, Skippyjon Jones, Fancy Nancy, and Ramona.

Scholastic knows just how to get kids to read. Sometimes it takes Justin Bieber to get a child to read, but as a school librarian I'm just fine with that. Check out Justin Bieber and more at the fall 2010 Scholastic Book Fair near you.

Wonderful article! If they're reading without being forced, it's a good thing. You can't make a kid "love" a book just because we deem it as good literature. Besides, most of those little books aren't bad and Scholastic's prices are decent. School book fairs were and still are awesome!
