JVC Everio Hard Drive Digital Camcorder Review
I Review This User-friendly Digital Camcorder from JVC
Main Product Features:
The first feature about this digital camcorder that consumers will find exciting is the hard drive recording function. Unlike using any type of external memory device, such as a memory card, DVD or Mini DV tapes, you are recording your videos directly onto a hard drive. Because of this you are able to easily transfer your videos from the camcorder to your computer with a USB cable. This is the ultimate camcorder for those who desire beautiful videos, but simplistic functionality. The hard drive features 30GB of storage, and the 12x transfer rate will make uploading your videos extremely fast and easy.
The 680-thousand pixel CCD sensor will allow you to capture videos that are rich in details and every movie will have a true-to-life depth field, which is rare within the digital camcorder industry. You are able to enjoy zooming into objects with the 32x optical zoom; however, if there are moments where you need extended zooming capabilities, you will be able to utilize the 800x digital zoom to capture moments in true clarity, even when they are at a distance from yourself.
You are able to view your videos while you are recording them through the 2.7-inch LCD viewing monitor, which is large enough to see all of the major details of your video. The aspect ratio of this LCD monitor is 16:9, which will give you a true cinematic feel to your videos.
Perhaps the greatest feature of this digital camcorder is the fact that you are able to store more video footage on this camcorder than any other in the industry. When you record in DVD-mode, you are able to capture a total of 7 hours of video. However, if you are going on a long trip without access to a computer, than you can switch the recording mode to Economy-Mode, which then allows you to record a total of 37 hours of video.
Product Price:
This hard drive camcorder from JVC can be purchased for an average price of $475. And you won't have to worry about being disappointed with this digital camcorder because it has received either 4 or 5 star reviews from all the major consumer review boards.
