Kevin Federline, husband to teen idol and soon to be mother for the second time, Britney Spears, debuted his first rap song "Lose Control" at the Teen Choice awards show on Fox television on August 20th. The reviews have been mixed.

A Toronto based website (www.thestar.com) blasts "Britney, K-Fed, TV is not your friend. The Boston Herald reports: "Yo, yo, no, K-Fed, rap debut a disaster."

Yet, CNN.com reported that that his performance wasn't genius, yet it wasn't half bad.

He was introduced to the crowd by his very pregnant wife Britney Spears, who called him her man. She then went on to say: "This show has been very good to me and my career over the years. And I'm hoping that it will be as good to our next performer,"

The press has appeared to be out to get Kevin Federline or K-Fed as he is being known to bloggers, since he married Britney in 2004. The couples have an infant son, Sean Preston, and are expecting their second child.

Britney has been in the spotlight as the press and the public criticize her capabilities of being a mother. Then they began questioning that Kevin was all for having more babies with Britney because it meant more money in his pocket if they would ever divorce. According, to MSNBC a source claimed that although Kevin signed a pre-nup before marrying Britney there was a clause saying he would get X amount of money for each child they have.

Yet, the rumors and the press do not seem to be stopping this couple from chasing their dreams. In August, Kevin's debut hip hop album "Playing with Fire" should be released. You can hear his debut single 'Lose Control' at www.kevinfederline.com. This will be Kevin's official site, which isn't completely up and running.

Yet, you can hear the single and there is a link to his myspace page, which is located at: http://www.myspace.com/kevinfederline. Currently, Kevin's myspace page has had over 1,378,230 views and 64,993 people have been added to his friends list. When you glance through the comments left by his friends you see that there are a lot of people who do like his music, some in spite of him being with Britney.

Will all the bad press be able to stop K-fed from making and selling his music? It doesn't seem to be stopping him so far. K-Fed, (Kevin) and wife Britney will probably be making music for many years to come.
