Car Chases, Shoot Outs, Lots of Action

K-Ville is a New Orleans police show. This show will be shot in New Orleans where they are hiring 80 percent of there crew from with in the town. This is going to put about fifteen or so million dollars into an economy that is in dire need. Though the storm is over there is still lots of work to be done. the directors and producers of K=-Ville wanted this show to be realistic and there is no way you can imitate the look of this town. The television guide has the director saying it looks like a war zone.

Starting tonight Monday 9-17-2007 at 9 p. m you will meet Anthony Anderson as Boulet a New Orleans police officer. This man has survived the category three hurricane called Katrina and now is trying to get some law and order back on the streets. Boulet has lost his wife and daughter in the aftermath, as they left the city. He has a lot of anger issues.

The other half of the team is Cole Houser who plays Trevor Cobb. This man brings a lot of secrets and baggage to the job. He is the type of guy you watch out for because he is quite and calculating.

The show uses real footage from the Katrina disaster to open their show. The show starts with a fundraiser for the ninth ward. Boulet and his new partner go to keep order at the fundraiser. Someone shoots the singer who is a friend of Boulet. Put him in a bad mood right off. Talk about a bad day. Boulet's wife is back from Atlanta to pick up some things and he is trying to talk her into staying but she doesn't want to.

Boulet and Cobb are two totally different guys. Boulet is hard core. He can torture a guy for answers and he drinks bourbon straight while on duty. Cobb doesn't drink and he doesn't like to talk about himself at all. These two partners will take some time to bond. They will fight among themselves but some where they will have to find balance. This show is action packed with bullets flying in the first ten minutes and a car chase right before the first commercial.

This is a good story about rebuilding and making a difference. I think most people will like this show for what it is a lot of action. The show is giving the ninth ward a second chance. The greatest twist to the movie is that Cobb is not a cop after all. He is an escaped prisoner who went into the army and served in Afghanistan. The action keeps coming.

If you did not get to see this show you can catch this episode as it will be repeated Tuesday night at eight.

I didn't get to watch either night, but it sounds like it might be entertaining.

I think the fact that the show is filmed intirely in New Orleans. This show is joining the ranks of other good police shows like Hawaii five o was filmed intirely in Hawaii. This show to me has potential.

I thought the premier was solid. Good acting, good writing, and descent camera work. No technical wow, but I like the premise.

I'm also glad to see New Orleans get a boost in it's economy, which it desperately needs, and the in your face live shots are a visual reminder this country desperately needs.
