Kaboom Bathroom Cleaner Makes Short Work of Eliminating Soap Scum and Hard Water Build-Up
Kaboom with Oxi-Clean
I had used other Kaboom products in the past and found them to live up to their promises, so when I spotted the dark purple can with the lime green lid in the bathroom cleaning products aisle of my supermarket, I decided to give it a try. Not only do I have to contend with soap scum residue, but because we use well water here, lime deposits accumulate quickly in the bathrooms and kitchen.
To be honest, I have used other products for this purpose in the past with good results at a lesser price, but those products (Mean Green and The Works) require a little more elbow grease and there is an odor that emanates when those products are working.
Kaboom bathroom cleaner is a foaming spray. Be sure to shake the can well or the stream of product that is sprayed will be pencil-lead thin, rather than a wider application. The foam comes out of the can colored a blue-purple. Believe me, you won't wonder where you've applied it once it's on there. As the foam does its work to clean up the residue, it will change to a white color. At that point, you can wipe the foam away with a wet cloth or sponge, then rinse with water.
For stains that are resistant or heavily soiled areas, leave the foam in place for a longer period of time, or wipe away the first application of foam and repeat.
I've had excellent results with cleaning tubs, sinks and shower doors--and the shower door tracking--with using this product. I've also used it on my white counter tops--Kaboom bathroom cleaner left them gleaming. There is a pleasant smell to the foam, unlike with other products I've used that provided equally good results.
Kaboom bathroom cleaner can also be used on vinyl curtains, ceramic tile, fiberglass and chrome fixtures. This product is not for use on brass, acrylic or unsealed marble or granite.
This cleaning product does the job it is intended for, helps to save me time and energy and has a pleasant smell to boot. It will be a staple in my cleaning arsenal.
