Winter doesn't mean travelers can't enjoy the excitement and fun of Oregon's Kahneeta High Desert Resort & Casino. Located on the Warm Springs Indian Reservation in Oregon, Kahneeta has some great fun in store for the traveler.

An onsite Casino with over 325 slot machines, including dollar, quarter, dime, nickel and penny slots and even some progressive slots are on the Casino floor. Weekly tournaments are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with Mondays for Senior Sneak Days. Those 55 and over that are still young at heart can stop by the main cashier for a free slot play. Kahneeta also offers Blackjack daily with Blackjack tournaments offered weekly on Thursday. Casino hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 am on weekends and 2:00 am on Weekdays.

Kahneeta offers visitors overnight stays at the Kahneeta Lodge or for those who bring their room with them an RV area with 51 spaces including full hoook-ups. However, Kahneeta Resort also has 20 Teepee camping sites for those who wish to spend the night or week living as they did in the past. An 18 hole Championship golf course for those who enjoy a swing of the clubs while traveling. Carts are available, full-service pro-shop, driving range and even professional instruction if you want it.

Kahneeta is also home to Spa Wanapine, a full service European style spa that incorporates the earth with ancient tradition using natural elements.

If swimming pools are on the menu this trip then Kahneeta has its famous Olympic sized Village pool, which is open year round and filled with mineral water from the Natural hot springs. This Olympic size pool also has too great water slides for those who are young or just young at heart. The Kahneeta Lodge offers a second pool that is just for Lodge guests to enjoy, also open year round this pool is a great place to enjoy a swim, soak or just a nice place to relax around the side of the pool.

Outdoor recreation can be enjoyed at the Kahneeta Stables. Open seasonally the Kahneeta Stables allows visitors to enjoy the surrounding areas of the Warm Springs Reservation while enjoying a nice ride.

Fishing, rafting, museum and much more is located close to Kahneeta so your entire stay doesn't have to be on Casino/Lodge grounds. Visit the River bend guide Service that offers exclusive rights to fish the Warm Spring Indian Reservation side of the Rushing waters flowing along the Deschutes River. When in Warm Springs take the time to stop by the Museum at Warm Springs, the Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs Reservation created the museum so they could share their lives, experiences and the wonders of the area. Located right on Highway 26 in Warm Springs the museum is a great place to learn and enjoy the history and goals of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. (541-553-3331).
