Kalamazoo Michigan School Bus Beating
The first half of the video is from the camera above the driver. The teen can be heard saying that he is not one to play with and he will knock her out. The driver repeatedly tells the teen to sit down. He approaches her and as she begins to radio for help he begins to beat her about the head with his fists. Another passenger on the school bus gets up and attempts to restrain the teen to keep him from continuing the assault on the bus driver. The teen pulls away from the one attempting to restrain him and continues his ruthless beating. The 37 year old driver attempts to protect herself by covering her head with her arms as the teen continues to throw punches. Then another student again attempts to stop the assault and receives assistance from a third student and they finally get him to stop beating the bus driver.
The teen has been charged as a juvenile with assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder. A sixteen year old who acts like this needs to be treated as an adult in the court system, not as a juvenile! He certainly was using adult language as he committed an adult crime. This is why teens today do things like this, because they know there will be less serious of a consequence because of their age. I would love to take a peek at this teen's criminal history. I bet it's lengthier than most adults! There is no way he should be charged as a juvenile. I say send him to the adult courts, send him to an adult prison where he can see what it feels to be beat like this. I bet he ain't so tough then! Teens that want to act like thugs and assault people need to face real consequences for their actions. A lot of kids today think acting like this is cool. Getting arrested and being locked up is a badge of honor anymore. When I was growing up it would never have crossed my mind that someone could do something like this to a school bus driver. Sure we got mouthy with the bus driver, but never would anyone have gone this far. Let's set the standard for behavior like this and bind him over to circuit court and not family court!

Post a CommentAll Bus Driver's public transportation, or public school's need training to avoid such incidents. With the looks of the video there was nothing that would have prevented him from his aggression. Although it is hard enough being a Sub Driver on a route unfamiliar to you. I thank my lucky stars I don't drive in southern Michigan, people are just plain mean in larger cities. It's a shame, and it reflects on the way he was raised. I hope the victim comes thru it without trama that will prevent her from doing her JOB.
