Kanna ( Sceletium Tortuosum ) "The Happy Plant" Natural Alternative Wonder Plant for Weight Loss, Anxiety, Depression and Addictions to Alcohol & Smoking

Candice
Mark my words, Kanna will be the next BIG thing in the alternative medicine world. Not many people have heard of Kanna (a.k.a. Channa, Canna, Kougoed or Sceletium Tortuosum), but that won't be for long. Kanna (Sceletium Tortuosom) is quickly becoming known as "The African Happy Plant" from South Africa and has some miraculous qualities that will have everyone in the U.S. snatching it up quicker than the latest Twilight book.

"For hundreds of years, indigenous South Africans have chewed a plant which they say reduces stress, relieves hunger, sedates and elevates moods."-abclocal.go.com

Kanna the "African Happy Plant" is really an all-encompassing miracle plant as it has been used for everything from treating addictions to tobacco, alcohol, and illegal drugs, to diet and weight loss, depression, anxiety, insomnia, OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder), binge-eating, tension headaches, fibromyalgia, irritable bowel syndrome, premenstrual syndrome, conversion disorder, sexual dysfunctions such as raising libidos, and Kanna has even been noted to enhance brain functions. As it's been said, "It sounds like pot, only without the munchies". What more could you ask for? Kanna really is a "happy plant" by all intents and purposes from what I've gathered.

Kanna definitely sounds like a miracle herb just waiting for its day in the limelight, which also sounds like that won't be too far off. HGH Pharmaceuticals will be marketing it soon under the name Zembrin (it's unknown if Kanna is approved by U.S. Food and Drug Administration yet), but that pretty much gives it a real creditability as a valid 'drug'. But as it stands now, people can purchase Kanna as a powdered herb to be smoked, chewed (or both) or steeped to make tea, as a liquid extract/tincture, or in a capsule or pill form in a myriad of places all over the internet from various sources.

Still, be aware that this is a non-regulated natural herb/drug that isn't protected by any regulatory offices as of yet, so use Kanna with caution, and avoid it if you are already taking prescription antidepressants or medications.

"To date, there have not been any reports of people suffering from addiction, drug interaction or any other adverse events as a result of using Kanna. Still, until more is known about Kanna, it should be avoided by anyone with a medical condition or who is taking a prescription medication. Theoretically, it could cause serotonin syndrome, a life-threatening condition, if taken with any other form of antidepressant."-clip from an A/C article by Juniper Russo - read the rest of the "Kanna: The World's Most Powerful Antidepressant Herb" article here.
