If tossing a coin in the air to see who goes first isn't the dumbest rule, then sitting the entire game is.
You heard that right! Sitting during the entire game. Can you imagine while you (loyal Chief fans) are watching the championship game and the kicker barely makes a field goal to top the score board to ultimately win the championship. During this exciting time you are made to sit still and cheer... maybe?? I couldn't do it. I would get kicked out and probably banned for hollering and throwing a fit when they kick me out.
That is what it looks like for you all though. Maybe it is time for you to find a new team to cheer for. I can see that the ticket sales are going to decline because fans just won't be able to contain them self. They would rather sit at home and cheer so that they could get excited, rightfully so.
Oh goodness so who in the world came up with this rule anyway?
Believe it or not, an 85 year old second grade teacher.
That's not all though. You can also conveniently text message the powers that be so that they can tame the wild fans that are standing and cheering. Uhm, I don't know about all of you Chief fans, but I would have to find a new team to cheer for.
Wonder what the football players are thinking about all of this? Civilized fans?Like someone said, the next thing that will happen is we will be banned from cheering loudly.
There is another way to look at it, of course. Could it all be in the best interest of some of the fans? Some fans may get out of hand so this is definitely a good way to keep the rowdiness down.
Either way, sitting civilized during an exciting game will definitely take a lot of getting use to.
