The talk of the tournament has been about Steph Curry and his 103 total points in only 3 games, but how long can he stay hot? The answer to that question will be answered tomorrow when Kansas puts down the defensive clamps with their big guards of Russell Robinson, Mario Chalmers, and an occasional showing of Brandon Rush on the talented sophomore Curry. One of many things Kansas does well is play defense, and that is what they will do tomorrow. Kansas will quench the iron hot Steph Curry leaving the Davidson team bewildered. Defense is a huge part to success for Kansas in this game. The post players are going to need to show on screens even more so against Davidson because of the ability of Curry to stretch the defense. This should not be a problem for the Jayhawks because of their speed at all positions on the court. Kansas is one of the deepest teams in the country and Davidson is going to have a very hard time with this. If Davidson gets in foul trouble early look for the Jayhawks to run away with this one. Sherron Collins, possibly the best sixth man in the nation, will provide energy off the bench for the guards who will be chasing Curry around screens and staggers all game. Sash Kaun and Cole Aldrich will hammer the ball in the post when Arthur and Jackson exit the game. The Wildcats have been impressive by handling teams from power conferences such as Georgetown and Wisconsin, but they have not played a team with as much depth and intensity as Kansas in the NCAA tournament. Both Wisconsin and Georgetown play at a slow tempo and Davidson handled this perfectly by forcing steals and fast breaks. Now the Wildcats will have to play at the fast pace tempo of Kansas which is unmatched by almost every team in Division-I basketball. This is one of the few things that are going to be the deciding factor in the game.

Tomorrow afternoon look for the David versus Goliath match up in the Midwest Regional between Kansas and Davidson. Davidson has been on fire lately but they are running into a buzz saw. The Kansas Jayhawks are focused and hungry and it looks as if no team in the tournament can stop them. Look for Kansas to crush the glass slipper of this very talented Davidson team. Everyone loves a Cinderella, but sorry Wildcat fans it is just not your year.

Score Prediction: Kansas 81 Davidson 65

Did this just take a while to get published? Because this game is over; I'm assuming it was just in your queue/pending until today (like mine on the final four! I wound up taking it out and publishing it for no payment because it was losing it's freshness!).
