Kanye West News: Kanye West/Lady Gaga Fame Kills Tour Canceled

Good morning Kanye West, or hello as the younger generation might say, perhaps this is a wake up call. Live Nation announced that all tour dates have been canceled for the Kanye West/Lady Gaga Fame Kills tour, which would have been a national tour running from November 2009 until January 2010. Interestingly, no official reason has been released about the cancelled shows, however, ticket holders will receive refunds at the point of purchase.

Kanye West brought a lot of bad publicity on himself by taking the microphone and blurting out his personal opinion and denying Taylor Swift her moment at the MTV awards. Tour dates being canceled without postponed dates is, in my opinion, a sign that Kanye may have pushed his luck to the limit this time.

It's not just the general public that expressed outrage, some of his fans and other performers have criticized the rapper. Why Kanye West walked around sipping alcohol (Cognac) from a bottle, which made him look more ignorant and rude, after making a complete fool of himself is tell-tale signs that this man has some serious problems.

There is a lot of speculation about the sudden tour cancellation, some say it is a result of backlashing from Kanye West stealing the spotlight from Taylor Swift, other rumors are that Lady Gaga wants out and Kanye may be heading to rehab. Although, there have been no official reports, and neither celebrity has commented yet.

Whatever the case may be Mr. West needs to step back and take a good look at the man in the mirror, and change his ways. Doug Camilli, of Canwest News Service reported September 30, 2009 in the Windsor Star that Kanye West has been drinking heavy since his mother's death, and plans to dry out for the new year. Death is never easy and people do mourn in many ways, and this may be a contributing factor to Kanye's increased drinking. If Mr. West is going to seek help with that it is a great step for him, however, it does not address his aggressive behavior, or his angry outburst prior to his mother passing away. He seems to have issues with anger control.

Kanye West has been in the news many times for allegedly assaulting photographers, vandalizing cameras, inviting himself on stage, having temper tantrums, but after what happened recently at the MTV awards with Taylor Swift and all of his apologies one would think he would show some self control. Guess again.

There are reports floating around that he attended Common & Friends Benefit Concert a charity event and acted like a spoiled child once again over chicken. Kanye West news remains to be jaw-dropping and alarming to say the least. With the news that the Kanye/Lady Gaga Fame Kills tour has been canceled, and there is no reports as to the reason, it is easy to wonder if the cancelled shows will send Kanye West on another rampage
