Kanye West's Monster Video: He Calls it an Art Piece

Monster: It Should Be Called Evil

Shana Dines
I rarely watch music videos. I don't remember why I checked this out. I guess it was because it was controversial. I am sure that Kanye's mother would be real proud of him if she were still living. I gave him the benefit of the doubt when he humiliated and embarrassed Taylor Swift by snatching an award out of her hand, insisting that Beyonce should have received it. He made a public apology and seemed to be sincere.

To be honest until that happened, I didn't even know who Kanye West was, but then I am not into rap music. I just figured that he made a bad judgement call, maybe he was loaded at the time and was trying to make amends for it. He seemed like a decent enough guy. He was grieving over his mother who had been his biggest supporter.

The music video for "Monster" is about the most twisted, sick, and I do say evil, thing that I have seen. He calls it "art." Kanye this is not art. A clip originally leaked out before Christmas. It was criticized because of how repulsive it was. Kanye was upset by the criticism. He made this pompous disclaimer: " The following content is in no way to be interpreted as misogynistic or negative towards any groups of people. It is an art piece and it shall be taken as such."

It should be taken out to the trash. Better yet it should be exorcised. Or maybe he should be exorcised. How he could claim that this is not meant to be negative toward any group of people is beyond me. But then maybe he doesn't consider women people? I don't know how he could consider women people, if he doesn't consider this negative to women.

On the other hand, I suppose zombies really aren't a group of living people, so he could be negative towards them. I suppose if people are dead, you can be negative toward them. Looks like he thinks that having sex with them is not disrespectful either. Although in all fairness he isn't actually having intercourse with them. He is just playing with them in sexual ways.

Not only is it abusive to women, objectifying them, and sexualizing them, which is something that is done all of the time in many music videos, but Kanye is in bed with two supposedly dead women. It is not an exaggeration to say that he is suggesting having sex with them, and posing them like they should be having sex with each other.

There are dead women in revealing lingerie hanging from nooses. The lyrics are all about Kanye being a monster. You don't have to keep telling us that Kanye, because it is very obvious that anyone that has twisted fantasies like these, are definitely twisted monsters. I would keep them to myself if I were you Kanye. Better yet take yourself for some serious head shrinking.

There is torture, dismemberment and disgusting monstrous looking beings in the video. Of course Kanye is spewing his filth through the whole thing. There are what appear to be zombies partaking of flesh of dead things along with more revolting antics going on through the whole video.

The only good thing is that it has been criticized even by some of his peers. Thank God I am not one of them. I am horrified that this filth is available to buy. It is satanic. I do not think that is an exaggeration. Kanye has to be using drugs to think that there is any redeeming value to this so-called art. This video looks like something that has been leaked from the bowels of hell.

I am not going to add the link to this video here. You will have to look it up yourself if you are curious. I would like to see it banned. If you choose to check it out, be sure to gargle with a powerful mouthwash and wash your eyes out too.
