Kaplan University's Online Courses

Kaplan university offers online education to stay at home moms or anyone looking to further their education. Through their online web page I am working on a degree in business. The student advisors arew really helpful with any concerns you may have reguarding their course plans and they offer different areas of study. I have been a student for around 3 months now and I am enjoying it very much. The staff at the university is well trained in their field.

If you are unsure of what field you wish to persue your personal advisor will assist you in discovering you desires. My advisor is very helpful in helping me stay motivated in my degree plan. I am always getting emails and phone calls from him to update my class schedule and to answer all my questions about my upcomming class schedule. This is an experience that all of us who never thought we could get an education could achieve.

Most people think that home study courses are a waist of time but before enrolling in a online university I researched alot of online schools. I found that most of the Universities that offer online courses are acredited, or backed by the government, and they do offer financial aid to the students who need it and most scholarships are available for a online university.

Federal student loans are also available for most online Universities as well. There may also be grants through your state that can help pay tuition for your online education.Some scholarship web sites are also very helpful in giving scholarship information on the online student enviroment. Such at home study courses as PCDI and others are not reconized by the government and the credits are not transferable. Meaning if you are enrolled in these courses you can not transfer those credits to another school like Kaplan. And the degree you earn is not reconized by the governmet in any way. They state that they are accredited but in reality they are not. In applying for financial aid I discovered that only the University that offers campus and online education is acceped for federal loans and grants.

Study courses are limited with other at home study courses but with a online course like Kaplan offers you can chose a degree plan that a traditional college offers in your on time and you can plan your family activities around. By studying at home any one can fit their classes in you everyday activities. With traditional colleges you go to the class. But in the online university the class comes to you on your computer and you get the education needed in todays careers.

In conclusions Kaplan is the ideal choice for any one with children and whos time is limited by the schedule a parent has with their childs daily activities.
