On Sunday, November 27, "Kourtney & Kim Take New York" is set to premiere at 10pm ET, and the drama is already starting before it even airs. You may not have heard because there's been so little media coverage on the matter, but Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kris Humphries on October 31 after a 72 day marriage. There are rumors flying around that Humphries may not be as innocent as he's seemed throughout this whole ordeal.
There are reports that Kris allegedly called Kim stupid and a fat-ass and resented her fame and fortune. Although nothing is final as of yet, Humphries is also allegedly planning to sue Kim for $10 million claiming he wants more money because he had a bigger part on "Kourtney & Kim Take New York" than he was initially led to believe. He's also allegedly worried about how he's going to come across due to a particular part in the show where he "bullies" Kim's best friend, Jonathan Cheban, about his sexuality.
Season 1 of "Kourtney & Kim Take New York" first aired on January 23, 2011. One week after being married on August 20, they picked up and moved to New York City to start filming Season 2 of the show. Kim and Kris were living with Kourtney, her partner Scott Disick, and their son Mason at the $7,000 a night Gansevoort Hotel in a two bedroom duplex.
Under the K&K's Krew tab on the "Kourtney & Kim Take New York" page, the descriptions under Kris and Kim's sections say it all - a part under Kris's section says he has " a relationship with Kim that's more tumultuous and uncertain than the future of the basketball season." Under Kim's section, a part states "Oh, and did we mention that marriage to Kris Humphries? Which, as anyone not living under a rock knows, has already run into some pretty rough seas." It seems as though that's becoming a bigger understatement the more we learn more about their relationship.
Meanwhile, on November 17 at the Trump SoHo Hotel in NYC, Humphries announced his new endorsement deal with Sector watches, which is rumored to be worth about $150,000. Considering the NBA is in the middle of a lockout , the endorsement seems to have come at the right time. By the way, who knew he has such a gorgeous sister? Check her out at Richie Rich's September 15, 2011 show at New York Fashion Week.
With everything that's been in the news about the Kardashian's lately, especially with the divorce, viewers are certainly in for some high drama as the girls live for a few months in New York City.
