The Internet's Source of Latest Weather

I had a feeling this was going to be one of those winters. As I sit here and watch Kare Weather on my computer I see the familiar scene of a newsman standing in the middle of a snowstorm. To watch this familiar sight, go to Kare 11 homepage and scroll down to WX cast.

How Much Snow?

The different areas in MINNEAPOLIS got from three to eleven inches of snow with the average being six inches. They're calling for more tonight and tomorrow, but not much more than an inch or so, unless of course you're near the edge, where they're expecting a whopping five more inches! The National Weather Service has issued a severe winter storm watch for just about all of Wisconsin.

Philadelphia Remembers a Pretty Rough Winter Last Year

With record breaking snowstorms all winter and record breaking heat all summer, I have been fearing what the 2010-2011 winter season will bring us here in Philadelphia. To see my slide shows last winter's record snowfall, click The Snow or The Snow Has Hit Delaware County-24 Hours Later .

You can get predictions from the six days on up to a prediction for the next three months by clicking on this link. I have to admit, I had a bit of a time understanding the maps, but I never was one for maps. According to the site though, this winter looking rough again.

Fargo hasn't gotten any snow, other than one night a few weeks ago :( Of course, that didn't stick around. I'm so sick of it being cold with no snow...

It truly is amazing. Just as I said in the article, know one knows for sure, but they can come pretty darn close. Its fun to see how much information is collected and how and how it is and has been used.

Last winter was shockingly bad, but it's unlikely to happen two years in a row.

We got a light dusting on the mountains and sleet the other day. It's crazy this early. Good luck with the weather.
