Karen's Writing Challenge : Stuck in a Jam
This is a Short Story in Response to Karen's Sanders Writing Challenge
He had just returned from a Camping trip, which had to be abandoned because of the weather, and was supposed to be meeting his girlfriend, but as so often happens, you never know what lurks around the next bend.
He felt so frustrated, having allowed the energy to drain out of his cellphone battery over the weekend, and now he not only couldn't call to apologise for being late, he couldn't phone ahead and order pizza either.
One think Mike did know, was that he was developing a cold, and fast running out of energy.
The last think he fancied doing was going to that art exhibition this evening.
This Is An Entry For Karen's Writing Challenge
The challenge is to write a short story that uses all of the following words, without changing them in any way:
Pizza Cellphone Giraffe Apologise Camping Abandoned Lurks Art Developing Energy

Thanks for writing this Tony. You did a great job.
Great job on this, Tony. I love a challenge like this. (btw, thanks for the comment.)
The amazing thing is that it didn't even take me 10 minutes to write this article. Anyone else want to give the challenge a try? It doesn't take long, and the more entries the merrier.
Wish I had time to enter, I've been traveling for two weeks with limited internet access and am frantically catching up. Your entry is excellent! Good luck!
I love this exercises but unfortunately I do not have the time to do it, I am very behind in my writing already.
Good work here, Tony. Thanks!
