Kariza Clothing - New Development in Fashion

Missy Slink
"Versatile clothing" usually means a piece of clothing that can be worn for several different occasions. Generally this description is ascribed to simple plain shirt, attesting to its appropriateness at both casual and more businesslike events. However, with the introduction of kariza outfits, the phrase "versatile clothing" has been given a whole new meaning. Found in boutiques, specialty shops, travel stores, and mall kiosks around the world, kariza skirts are taking over the world of fashion in a storm. The appeal to this new fashion trend seems to lie primarily in its versatility and uniqueness-a combination of attributes that makes each kariza wearer a little different from the next.

Kariza "skirts" are actually comprised of two layers of Indian silk scarves combined to create unique patterns and colors for each individual skirt. Many retailers of kariza skirts are labeling them as "vintage" masterpieces, because each silk scarf used is often a "recycled" older scarf and unlike any other. With India as their "native" origin, kariza clothing often has beautifully bright and intricate patterns in the cloth. The length of a kariza skirt/scarves partially determines its function, but most kariza retailers are selling their products in three major lengths: short (17-20inches), medium (26-30in), and long (33-36in). All basic kariza skirts have the same width of around 42-46inches, but recent developments in this area of the fashion industry have expanded karizas to carrying a "plus" size that offers a width of 60inches.

The main appeal to kariza for most kariza wearers is probably the versatility that each scarf skirt offers. Although called kariza "skirts," any kariza retailer will be quick to inform you that the kariza can also be worn as a dress, a shawl/scarf, or a shirt (depending upon the length of the kariza). The dress style opportunities provided by a kariza are incredibly varying in and of themselves, ranging from a more revealing/"sexy" look to classy and flattering. The free flowing fabric provides a look of elegance with each kariza, encouraging users to wear it for both formal and more casual events. The ease in which kariza can be wrapped by an experienced user also makes this clothing item perfect as a swimsuit cover up, whether as just a simple skirt or a fuller dress.

Economically speaking, kariza skirts are a great deal for your money. Their versatility allows you to wear them for a huge range of occasions, which greatly increases their practicality. Additionally, although the mall kiosk price mark up could be considered somewhat severe at the present time, online retailers (many through ebay.com) are offering quality kariza products are affordable prices.
