Cause and effect are the gears, setting motion to the known phrase,
"Its payback time."
And from my observations of karmic payback, payback is a bitch.
I laugh my ass off when people have bad things happen to them and they say,
"How could this happen?" When they know as well as I do they must have had it coming.
When I freaked out at work to get myself fired, I did it for two reasons. The first being, summer was only a few months away and I desperately needed a vacation. The second being, I was mentally sick, tired of being taken advantage of. All my hard work being credited to a selfish, undeserving jerk, which couldn't find his putrid, shriveled heart if he attained a team of medical professionals, and a map to save his life, some people just don't learn. Though lessons must be taught in non conventional ways, I'll leave out the ugliness of said ways for this story.
I walked away knowing effect of my actions would creep back to find me, and when they did I welcomed them with open arms; confident with the fact it would be miniscule with little negative impact.
My actions were justified and the karma which returned was positive, pushing me closer to my inevitable goal for success. The negative karma was passed on to the heartless self-absorbed me-me who was relocated and stripped of his role as life sucking credit stealer, though I'm sure his thieving ways are a continuance.
In cases where kind hard working deserving people, such as me are wronged, karma is a wonderful ally, but for the rest of the world, well just imagine, if you pick pocket someone, that doesn't necessarily mean someone will pick pocket you.
Karma never returns wearing the same dress, that would be too simple. Karma, my dear friends, returns disguised as your best friend or sister, she takes the most obvious form and can be deflected by merely being honest and true. What comes around goes around is fact, with no restrictions.
One way or another, the path to destiny is decided by fate, which walks hand in hand with karma. So be careful what you say behind people's backs, be careful not to be phony and lead people to believe your befriending them, don't intentionally hurt the people around you because karma doesn't teach you a lesson by sending an invitation, she just gets her revenge when you least expect it and waits quietly in the wings anticipating your next act of selfishness and misuse of power against humanity and nature.
So if you wake up in the morning wondering why your car won't start to get you to the next appointment that will make or break your future, or when you get food poisoning and can't attend the party of the century, that could possibly bring you to your soul mate, don't even bother asking the question,
"How could this happen?" when you already know you've been bad and probably deserved it.
Remember you can't run away from yourself, so be honest and true because horrible inconveniences only happen to bad people. Sick and diseased people, well their fate rests on medical science not karma.
