Kate Bosworth Surprises with Lots of Topless Photos (and Movies)

Kate Bosworth might be one of Hollywood's cutest actresses, but she's never really been a mega star. However, a collection of topless photos and a plethora of upcoming movies could soon change that.

While vacationing in Mexico, Kate was comfortable enough to take off the top half of her itsy-bitsy, teenie-weenie yellow bikini, resulting in some lucky schmuck making a buck off of the resulting topless photos. So is Kate Bosworth just comfortable in her own skin, or is the star who kept her bikini on for the surf movie "Blue Crush" looking to drum up a little publicity for her multiple movies in the works?

She started out 2011 with two Sundance movies: "Little Birds" focuses on two teen girls (Juno Temple and Kay Panabaker) that run away from home (Bosworth's role in the movie was minimal), and "Another Happy Day" focuses on a wedding held at the house of a high-strung strung woman (Ellen Barkin). It also stars Demi Moore.

Later this year Kate will star in the "Straw Dogs" remake as the wife of a Hollywood screenwriter (James Marsden). The couple encounters threats of violence when they move to a small Southern town. Her real-life boy toy Alexander Skarsgard plays her high school boyfriend in the movie.

In the star-studded comedy "Movie 43," which features a bunch of short films all mashed together, Bosworth will star in an iPod spoof segment entitled "iBabe" (perhaps it has something to do with some kind of fembot-like electronic device?).

Finally, in the comedy "BFF & Baby," Kate Bosworth will play the best friend of Krysten Ritter's character, who is testing their friendship by having a baby (sounds kind of like the BFF might be a little jealous and competitive with the bundle of joy).

So does Kate Bosworth getting topless in photos translate into movie nude scenes? It seems the best chance at the actress showing skin might come in "Straw Dogs"...or her photos could just turn out to be a tease. Whatever the case, they're definitely drawing attention to this very busy actress.
