Reality star, Kate Gosselin appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live Tuesday, April 20, 2010, following her elimination from ABC's Dancing with the Stars. Kate's demise from the popular prime time reality series, prompted Kimmel to ask the mom of eight whether she would consider appearing on another popular reality television show, perhaps ABC's The Bachelorette?

Kate responded to Kimmel's suggestion with, "No, It's more like never. I'm married to my kids and my career". Kate Gosselin will be appearing soon in a new show airing on TLC entitled "Twist of Kate". A stint as the next Bachelorette could be a rather juicy role for the popular reality TV star and just think what it would do to the ratings of ABC's The Bachelorette. Kate Gosselin is considered the primary reason why the ratings for this season's Dancing with the Stars hit a record high, even beating out that other popular reality television show, American Idol.

Who Would Sign Up to Date Kate Gosselin?

Granted the idea of Kate Gosselin as the next Bachelorette is purely hypothetical. Kate's "no, never "response does sound like a pretty solid no. We all know that "no's" can be overcome with the right enticement, and Kate Gosselin does appear to enjoy the spotlight. Therefore, if Kate were to appear as the 2011 Bachelorette, what type of man should we suppose would sign up to date the famous Kate Gosselin.

A Man who Loves Children

A love of children would have to be the number one quality that Ms. Gosselin should look for in a potential mate. Eight children is a hefty responsibility and many single moms with far fewer children will tell you, being a single mom is not always the biggest selling point when it comes to the dating world. That said, the Gosselin gang is adorable and Kate has more than one nanny to help care for the gang.

A potential mate for the camera loving Kate Gosselin, must certainly not be camera shy. He should also be highly photogenic. Kate Gosselin is a magnet for the media, her next soul mate, which means privacy-loving males need not apply for this dating gig.

Able to Put Up with an Idiotic Ex

Ex, Jon Gosselin is certainly no selling point for Kate when it comes to a new romantic entanglement. Jon may possibly be the jerkiest ex-husband of any celebrity, and he has more than a little competition. The ability to put up with the antics of ex-husband, Jon Gosselin is sure to be another requirement.

While Kate Gosselin's dancing made many of us cringe, the idea of her as the next Bachelorette has more than a little appeal. It would be interesting to see the thirty-three-year-old single mom handing out roses to potential soul mates. Who Knows? Stranger things have certainly happened in the realm of reality TV.
