Kate Gosselin Poses in Bikini for People
Kate Denies Affair with Bodyguard; Says "I've Earned the Right to Look Good"
So go the quotes by Kate Gosselin in the latest issue of People magazine. Those of us who've watched Kate for years might have a few comments for her.
Kate splashed onto the scene for most of us about 5 years ago, when she and laid-back husband Jon landed a TLC series, Jon and Kate Plus Eight, thanks to their young twin daughters and toddler sextuplets.
Has Kate Had Help?
Kate, seemingly reluctantly, showed viewers her "jowls of a dog" sagging stomach shortly after her sextuplets were born, and soon afterward a sympathetic viewer who happened to be a plastic surgeon offered Kate a tummy tuck (gratis, as is the Gosselins' style).
Recently, although Kate has not confirmed it, Kate's bosom has appeared significantly larger and perkier. Boob job? You decide.
So, has Kate "earned" the right to look good? You decide. Most of us, given free cosmetic procedures and high-paying jobs with our own television shows, would probably enjoy looking our best also.
Kate in a Bikini
While Kate was famously modest in previous years (wearing conservative tankinis when on vacation), the past year has seen her throw caution to the wind. She has appeared in a wide variety of skimpy bikinis. The latest People cover shows her in a white bikini with little left to the imagination.
Kate attributes her "new" figure to frequent runs at her million-plus dollar home near Wernersville, Pennsylvania.
Is Kate Desperate for Attention?
Posing for a bikini this week, just days after her latest Kate Plus Eight episode showed her children vomiting repeatedly on a boat, at one point lying in their own vomit ... could these be pleas for attention from Kate? Ratings for Kate Plus Eight have been falling steadily, and Kate has shown over and over that she does enjoy the attention fame has brought her. Posing for a magazine in a bikini is about as attention-seeking as you can get.
Kate: Affair with the Bodyguard?
Kate also addresses her alleged affair with long-time bodyguard Steve Neild in the People article, calling it "absurd" (although, interestingly, not denying it). She does say that she's looking for "Mr. Right" and states that it would be nice to be noticed. With this cover, she'll definitely be noticed. Where that will next lead is anyone's guess - but knowing Kate Gosselin, we'll all have ringside seats to watch.

Post a CommentReally, I can't help but think that anyone could look good if she spent enough time and money on her looks. Look at the before and after of her.
I doubt she was modest before - just insecure about her figure. Otherwise, she wouldn't be flaunting it now.
Well, I'd get into her shape too if I could afford personal trainers and (unconfirmed) tummy tucks! But I think now she's just into the attention.

I think Kate needs more than a fit body to find Mr. Right.
