All of us who've ever dieted know that exercise is vital to losing weight, and Kate is no exception. Kate's devotion to working out began last spring during her stint on Dancing With the Stars. Now that her dancing days are behind her, she has taken up jogging around her rural Wernersville, Pennsylvania home. Her usual route takes her around a hilly 4-mile path - a workout she does three times weekly.
Kate Eats Organic
Okay, so there's nothing magic about organic foods that will help you lose weight. However, most organic foods are intrinsically healthy: fruits and vegetables. Viewers of Kate's shows can't miss the fact that Kate loves to eat organic foods. And eating healthy tends to lead to a healthy weight.

Aside from organic munchies, Kate's other foods are healthy as well. "I'm probably the healthiest eater you'll ever meet," she has said, touting her usual fare of lean proteins, fresh fruits and vegetables (often purchased from nearby Amish farms), whole grains, and only the rare bit of sugar.
Remember the Kate Plus Eight episode where Kate and the kids visited an ice cream shop? The kids ate their yummy treats, while Kate ordered "just a bite or two." Any dieter knows that keeping the pounds at bay involves some sacrifice!
Kate Had a Tummy Tuck
Okay, we might as well address the elephant in the room: Kate received a free tummy tuck about 15 months after her sextuplets were born. It goes without saying that without this procedure, all the dieting and working out in the world would not produce the results Kate currently has. However, Kate could not maintain her current figure without still eating right and working out.

Post a CommentKudos to anyone who gets it right. (I read a funny birthday card once that said something about how "you look great, how do you do it? And don't tell me it's diet and exercise, I tried that once for a whole day and it didn't work!")
also having money to have a trainer and/or to have time to exercise and the money to join a gym!!!! unfortunately, our finances can factor in too! but yes, eating well and exercising are the ways to do it!
