Kate Hudson Cameron Diaz Fighting Over A-Rod?

I'm not getting the A-Rod appeal. First it was Madonna. Then it was Kate Hudson. Now it's Cameron Diaz. Oh, and now it's Kate Hudson again. With Cameron. But, they're not together. They are just fighting. Over A-Rod. Yeah, you read that right. Kate Hudson and Cameron Diaz are fighting over Alex Rodriguez. Or so say the tabloids.

Anyway, here's what I don't get: First of all, he's not much of a looker. Yeah, I know. Rather shallow of me, isn't it? But, it's true. He has a rather odd contrast between the color of his eyes and skin tone. Maybe others don't notice it, but I do and it looks peculiar. But, that's just me.

Second, he did his wife wrong. They have two young kids and he left her shortly after the birth of his second child, for Madonna. Well, okay, it was his wife who actually filed for divorce. But, if you remember the story, Mrs. A-Rod was convinced that Madonna was "all up in her bi-ness" and at the very least, her husband was having an "emotional affair" with Madge. I suppose if you want to use A-Rod's post marital separation behavior with Madonna as a barometer, I would say she was probably right.

I can't really speak to his prowess as a baseball player, but I would suspect that since we hear his name quite often and regularly when it comes to baseball, that he's rather good. He's rich too and so maybe that's the appeal. But is he really worth fighting over?

The word in the tabloids is that Kate Hudson believes Cameron Diaz is handing her a payback for running off with Justin Timberlake two days after he and Cameron split in 2007. I have a hard time believing this is true. It just all seems rather sophomoric, but I guess it's possible.

The UK Daily Mail is also running a story on the feud and adds that Kate Hudson was smarting from her break-up with A-Rod earlier this year and that it was his criticism of her lack of mammalian assets that drove her to get her much publicized and talked about boob job this past March. Ouch.

Like I said, I'm not getting the A-Rod thing and I probably never will. He strikes me as a man who is rather shallow and self-serving. Certainly not worth fighting over if you ask me. And if it's true that he drove the lovely Kate Hudson to the surgeon's table because he made fun of her small breasts, well, shame on him, and I hope his hot rod breaks down somewhere. So there.
