'Kate Plus 8': Kate Gosselin Spends Millions
Kate Needs to Reinvent Herself to Keep Her Family in the Lifestyle They Have Become Accustomed
We all know that the haircut was not worth what she paid for it.
Kate has been spending money like crazy, but she did have a plan to pay for it. She was hoping to land product endorsement contracts, but that has not happened. It is too bad that she did think of it when the sextuplets and twins were babies. May be she could have had her own line of baby care products, but now what will she do.
She probably made a healthy amount of money on 'Dancing With The Stars', but it is reported that she has already blown through that money.
There are also her book deals. I am not sure who buys the books, but they have been quite popular.
Kate currently has two reality television deals, 'Kate Plus 8' and 'A Twist of Kate', although it is rumored that the latter one has been canceled or will soon be canceled.
Her latest show about a family vacation to Alaska with her sextuplets, Aaden, Collin, Joel, Hannah, Leah and Alexis and twins, Mady and Cara, only brought in a million and a half viewers, much fewer than the 10 million viewers she had at the height of her popularity.
Television is always based on ratings, if your show does not bring in enough viewers, it will be canceled. Only time will tell if Kate Gosselin can keep it interesting enough to continue. If not, the only thing she may have left is her book deals.
Kate is constantly under scrutiny for everything that she does, from firing a nanny to packing stale food in her kids' lunches, nothing is left undisputed. Recently two of her sextuplets, Collin and Alexis, were expelled from their Pennsylvania private school for hitting and bullying other children.
Their behavior problems seem to stem from the 2009 divorce of their parents Jon and Kate Gosselin. Jon moved to another state and rented a bachelor pad. He began dating numerous women including Kate's doctors daughter and one of the children's nannies.
Jon is constantly blasting Kate although it is his behavior that makes the headlines.
'Raising Sextuplets' stars Bryan and Jenny Masche had hoped to avoid the same fate as the Gosselin's. It lookes like they didn't hope hard enough. Jenny Masche has filed separation papers against Bryan which will automatically turn into a divorce at a set date unless Jenny stops it.
It is now rumored that Kate is having an affair with her married, father of two, bodyguard, Steve Neild.

Twist of Kate never aired in my area so I can't say much about that show other than it takes her on the road alot and given the difficulty the children are having maybe it is a bad move to be away so much.
