'Kate Plus 8': Kate Gosselin's Kids Traumatized by Divorce and Reality Show
Two of the Sextuplets Were Expelled from School for Bullying Other Children
The twins and sextuplets have been filmed for a reality television show 'Jon and Kate Plus 8' for TLC since the sextuplets were infants and the twins were toddlers. They are comfortable with cameramen and camera in their every day life. The cameras are not there every day. The family always knows ahead of time when the camera crew will be there and for how long. After Jon and Kate Gosselin divorced, the show was changed to 'Kate Plus 8'.
The couple went through a very bitter and public divorce. Jon was out with other women in public and had affairs with Kate's doctors daughter and a nanny for their kids. Their personal lives were on the cover of all the tabloids. Jon moved to New York and then just recently back to Pennsylvania. The time that the children spend with their father has been significantly reduced due to his social life.
The divorce has had obvious detrimental affects on the children. Jon blames their behavioral problems on the filming. Jon now spends his custody time with his children and which ever girl friend he has at the time. I guess she is like a free nanny. His kids are probably wondering why they never get to see their dad alone without his latest flousy.
Friends, relatives, professionals and fans all have their own opinions as to what is going right and what is going wrong in the Gosselin household. The fact that there are six children the same age may also play into the mix. It must be difficult to get attention.
Witnesses say that the children were expelled because they fight with other kids, call other children names and know words that are inappropriate for their age.
Other famous sextuplet families, such as the Masches of 'Raising Sextuplets', are headed in the same direction as the Gosselins. Bryan and Jenny Masche are currently separated which, husband Bryan says will automatically turn into a divorce if they do not stop it. Bryan believes that his wife, Jenny has fallen in love with another man and that is why they are getting divorced. Of course, anyone that has seen the show, knows that Bryan has been very difficult to live with.

Post a CommentI don't know what a 'flousy' is, but I think you meant floozy. Have you seen the article in People about the kids eating sandwiches that are a week old? What's up with that? And I saw a video recently made by the papparazzi that showed the kids crying when they had to leave Jon and return home to Kate. Really, what's up with THAT? Any scoops?
I do not think the filming of the show is what traumatized the children. I think the divorce and the fact that they went from having both parents at home all the time to being without parents most of the time. It is difficult for children to deal with divorce but it is traumatizing to suddenly have your parents absent most of the time. I imagine they must feel abandoned.
