Kate Plus 8 Ratings Are Gold for TLC, Gosselin Brings Back Viewers
The first episode of Kate Plus 8 (called '6th Birthday Surprise') brought in 3.4 million viewers on average during the 9 p.m. Sunday time slot. In the 10 p.m. time slot, the second episode of Kate Plus 8 (called 'Inside Kate's World') brought in an estimated three million viewers. Both of those numbers were really good for not just TLC, but all of television on Sunday nights. According to Nicole Sperling over at Entertainment Weekly, these two episodes were a triple-digit gain over what TLC normally averages in these time slots. That is huge, and might just get TLC to purchase some more episodes of the show. It might get expensive though, as it is obvious that Kate Gosselin is still a big draw to the network.
The next episode (or special) won't air until July 11th, so we have a bit of time to wait until TLC brings it back.

Here is the deal. Kate and Jon both are bad parents. Couples w/kids go through divorce all the time. It is how the adults handle the divorce, kids, etc.. that makes the difference. They have not done a good job of this.
I think both are very selfish people. You should put aside your own needs to be in the lime light and honestly do what is best for your children. For example: most kids do not live in a mansion. It is not needed. Kids do not need a big expensive trip for their birthday. It is not needed. Kate's expensive hair, nails, body and face. It is not needed. All this just means more time away from your children.
I bet if you asked the kids what they wanted most, the answer would be...to have mom and dad be real parents to them.
I just got the inside scoop...Kate's next show will be "Kooking with Kate"...it should be a great show as she is such a creative cook.....GO KATE!!!

yeah, definitelly a tons of curiosity viewers who wanted to see what this B....is all about. ratings will drop big time after that..for sure,as she is not worth it.
Ryan, agree with the week to week number, the 9 million I was expecting for the debut with ALL of the hype and PR - plus the curiousity watchers who saw her on DWTS and didn't previously see the cable show -- the individual separation episode got 10 million. I would think for a debut episode with all they put into it, it would have been much higher. Plus the fact it dropped off by 400,000 between hours one and two. Time will tell I guess -- Good Consistent Number for SpongeBob -- wonder what he'd pull if he did DWTS, Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel, People etc :)
Don't mind too many negative people who are against you both.. Be strong, and ignore them.. Just be yourselves and do whatever you both can do the best for your children...
Hey, People who are against them, you have no ways of points to be against them... People does change.. People get born everyday, dies everyday, falls in love everyday, divorce, etc.. No much difference of our experiences as long as they are very good parents to their beautiful children. so just leave them alone... if you are against them, then go away and find someone else to mess up with... they are beautiful family and not need to be messed up with.... Grow up, people! Get a life.
