Katherine Heigl Movie Postponed Again

Katherine Heigl, known as Dr. Izzie Stevens from the top television show Gray's Anatomy, was almost ready to be seen in the movie, "One for the Money." The comedy thriller was taken off the slate by studio Lionsgate and postponed a second time.

"One for the Money" is based on the popular novel by Janet Evanovich about bondswoman Stephanie Plum. Entertainment Weekly reports the movie was moved from July 8 to June 3 earlier this month to avoid being in the way of Warner Bros' release "Horrible Bosses" and "The Zookeeper" from Sony Pictures.

However, the new June date for "One for the Money" would put the film against "X-Men: First Class." A rep from Lionsgate indicated, "We just want to find the right home." Apparently June did not feel like the right moment for release either and the studio is considering another date.

Fans looking forward to the release of "One for the Money" will have to wait for Liongate's decision. Meanwhile, Katherine Heigl is mothering Naleigh, the daughter she adopted with her husband in 2009.

The blonde actress also wants to have biological children with hubby Josh Kelley. Heigl said, "I'm not ruling anything out. But adoption has been a part of my life and a part of my family, so it was how I wanted to start. Josh is a great dad. I didn't expect it. He's such a guy."

With Katherine Heigl in the lead, "One for the Money" promises to be an exciting comedy thriller. Janet Evanovich is an American author brought to fame by her series of contemporary mysteries featuring Stephanie Plum. The lingerie buyer turned bounty hunter is the star of sixteen novels in a series that always climbs to the top of the New York Times Best Seller List.
