Katie Waissel was Always a "Monster"

A former co-star of Katie Waissel has stepped up to reveal that the quirky "X Factor" hopeful was always "a monster". Kristen Quintrall, an actress who worked with Katie Waissel in America for seven months, has claimed that Waissel was fame obsessed and would do anything to reach her dream.

In today's Daily Mirror, Kristen Quintrall said, "She is a self-absorbed, big-headed drama queen who has earned good money as a singer and trampled all over people she considers beneath her. Even without "X Factor" fame she was a monster. I dread to think how much worse she will get. I couldn't believe my eyes when she popped up on The "X Factor" claiming she was a hair salon receptionist. She spent seven months last year in America filming an internet reality show about making it as a singer."

This isn't a new story. The word that Katie Waissel was in an online reality television show called "Green Eyed World" spread incredibly quickly after she made her debut at the "X Factor" auditions. However Kristen Quintrall has claimed that in order to get the part, Katie slept with the executive producer Phillipp Schwinger after her first audition. According to Quintrall, the revelation that Katie Waissel and Phillipp Schwinger were sleeping together didn't come out until halfway through the series and the director - who never wanted Katie on the show - was angry because they had to re-shoot to make it look as though the pair had fallen in during the filming process. The relationship between Waissel and Schwinger was relatively short lived.

Unfortunately, it seems that Katie didn't have a proper contract binding her to making "Green Eyed World", so even though she had been given money for her work, she threw a tantrum before completing the deal and the series, and left it incomplete which in turn ruined the end of the show.

Kristen Quintrall went on to say that while they were in LA together, Katie spent much of her time trying to befriend celebrities. Quintrall recalls, "I remember once a guy tried to chat her up at a bar and she completely blanked him - until he told her he was a musician and that he'd won a Grammy. The moment she heard that her eyes just lit up and she made a massive play for him. But he saw through her and said, 'Now do you want to f*** me?'. She just slunk away after that."

These claims by Kristen Quintrall come after weeks of rumours supposedly exposing Katie's alleged less than innocent past, not to mention scandal inside the "X Factor" house where she was accused of leaking the news that she was caught in bed with Matt Cardle.

It is becoming tiresome to constantly hear so many rumours about one person, particularly when that person has not yet reached the dizzy heights of musical excellence.
