Katsuro Mike

Katsuro raises his eyes
Amongst planets steamed
With vegetataion
He rises to greet the moon

He knows people can be far
Away but still greet each other
With the Zen grin above

Katsuro raises himself upon
Songs of silence which play
Upon the bending trees

He knows the voice of crickets
Are to be heard just as the great
Buddah spoke.....softly....sshhh..

Katsuro watches the dusk fall
It is indeed the best time of day
Where you can see the outlines

He knows the outlines of things
Mean that they exist in reality
And he open his mouth to breathe

The sparrow flies from his throat
Givings of its best flight and nest
Lovely little verse-filled warbler

Katsuro ponders himself as
Kady thinks of him tonight..yes
She's thinking of him slicing air

Dividing the air of love for us
Each person he touches with
Gentle Autumnal countenance

Even the moth he sees as one
Of his brothers who flies tonight
Among yellow flowers trembling
