Katy Perry Gives Moe and Mr. Burns a Merry Christmas on 'The Simpsons'

Last night, Katy Perry provided some holiday cheer when she appeared on "The Simpsons" Christmas special.

Last night's Simpsons episode was a montage of dream sequences. In the first sequence, he ended up on a train to the North Pole. When Bart tried to confront Santa about the dirt bike, Santa fed Bart a sob story about how giving out free toys was not a sustainable business. Bart left in peace, leaving Santa to party with dancers and burn $100 bills.

In the next sequence, Lisa, who had been protesting the killing of innocent Christmas trees, was transported back to Nazi Germany where Marge was MIA from fighting in combat. Lisa realized that Christmas trees reminded her of her mother's disappearance. Fortunately, a benevolent Christmas tree salesman told her that their tree reminded him of Marge, and sculpted it to replicate her trademark hairstyle.

In Marge's dream sequence, she had written a letter to Santa hoping to save Christmas for her family. The letter appropriately landed on Martha Stewart's coffee table and she came to the rescue. Martha Stewart redecorated the bedroom, using Maggie's head to shape the windows, turned Bart and Milhouse into Nutcracker soldiers, sent Lisa to make snow angels face down, and covered Homer with a Christmas display. Marge loved the improvements but felt that Christmas wasn't the same without her family.

Maggie's dream sequence was a Fluppet Christmas Carol with Simpson characters as live action Muppets. The Simpsons were preparing to leave for Hawaii, leaving Moe to take care of the house while they were gone. Mr. Burns paid a visit and learned that Home had faked his neck injury in order to get the week off, but he was appeased by a sexy hug from a latex-wearing Katy Perry.

The Simpsons sang us out with the unabridged 39 Days of Christmas. Moe tried to kiss his girlfriend, Katy Perry, but was only able to come up to her waist. Moe decided to kiss her belly button, but missed. Katy Perry responded, "that's not my belly button. I didn't say stop though..."

Katy Perry on "The Simpsons" Christmas Special: A Present for Katy Perry

It looks like Katy Perry has fared better on "The Simpsons" than she did on "Sesame Street." "Sesame Street" had previously decided not to air a segment with Katy Perry because parents had deemed her cleavage too racy for young viewers.

"The Simpsons" is a probably show for her anyway because they cater to a more grown-up audience. I also think she'd do well in a "South Park" cameo, maybe as a sexy substitute teacher.

Looks like Russell Brand has some competition. Who would have thought that Katy Perry would leave him for Moe?
