Katy Perry and Russell Brand Told They Could Not Enter Japan

Katy Perry and Russel Brand get turned away from entering Japan because Russel has been kicked out of the country, according to TMZ. As Katy and Russell made last minute preparations to spend some time in Japan this weekend, the other shoe falls as Katy Tweets that they cannot get into the country!

While Katy is doing her tour through Asia, her husband, Brand joined her. While there, the two decided to visit Japan so Katy could show her new husband a favorite spot of hers. They didn't make it, the two were deported right out of the country. Katy learned that Russell is banned from that country for something that happened over 10 year ago.

Katy took to her Twitter account this weekend to let her fans know the dilemma she and her new husband were facing. "So -- my husband just got deported from Japan. I am so. Sad. I brought him all this way to show him my favorite place."

The pop diva did not lose her sense of humor when she tweeted, " Planning escape from Japanese custody. It's bloody hard to dig tunnel with chopstick." She appeared to take the entire thing well. Russell Brand looks like a character that knows how to have fun, so chances are some type of antic got him into trouble 10 years ago.

Although Katy didn't elaborate on what it was that kept him banned from Japan, it was most likely nothing big, or it would have been all over the papers from curious media outlets today.
