Katy's Favorite Highschool Marching Bands

Viktorya Hale
Well I wanted so much to do an article on football tonight. After going through a few sites and reminiscing on old times, I remember my very first highschool. I attended it for about 2 months while I was in Arizona. Not to mention, being a substitute teacher now, I had the priviledge to go to a North Caddo Highschool pep rally. It brought back memories from 11 years ago. Yeah, I cried, but who needs to know, right. I will save the heartfelt sentimental stuff for my journal. Just relaxing tonight, hopeing to begin writing a novel for someone here soon, so yay even more good news for me. Yep, all kinds of stuff going on. I still make the time for you, my loyal readers. Thanks for reading my articles. I mean that from the bottom of my heart. Okay let's get busy with my favorite highschool marching bands.

Buena Highschool Colts are the bomb!! I don't say that lightly and yes I was in the band, but not really. Never mastered clarinet, never marched either, just hung out. I love the marching band though. I went to all the games and my favorite thing to see was our band. I chose the Colts because not only is the marching band awesome, the football team is too. Go COLTS!!!! Here's a little sneak peak.

As I was looking around on YouTube at other bands, one name stood out as I noticed a familiar town. I clicked on the link and am wowed at the performance , so yep another great team to chose. This is a great example of an awesome highschool marching band. They really out did themselves. Then the music, definitely classic. This one is to my new friend and client coming at you from Teaneck, NJ. GO Highwaymen and ...women (what a mascot eh?)

Ok let's see, who else do I like. Well, I have a couple friends in W. Va., so I clicked on Huntington Highschool marching band to find that they are playing a theme song from an old show that I like and use to watch, growing up. Do you remember Happy Days? This band definitely made the list, so woo hoo go Huntington!! Keep listening because there is more to it! It will take you back to the future, for sure. That definitely got me in the Michael J. Fox and Grease mood, ha., so we will see what I will come up with next as I click around YouTube. Sandra Dee never lost her touch.

Chronicles of Narnia, anyone? I have yet to see it lol. Laugh all you want. I watch movies as I feel lead to but hey after seeing this performance, yep I wanna see the movie for sure. Perhaps a drama or play would be great, too. Go Mililani Trojans! Ya'll are awesome!

Well, imma cut this one short. I need to get to writing and browsing (nightly routine). I will make it to your articles, I promise. Oh and if Katy, Texas Tigers had a YouTube vid., they would be up here too. Go highschool football.
