The Reno River Festival is becoming a well known kayaking competition and there will be kayakers from across the nation in attendance. There will be a variety of competitions, expos, and demos. There will also be kayaking clinics held with the professionals. This is a great time to enjoy the beautiful downtown Reno area. Not every city can have a kayaking competition right in the heart of its downtown. If you are coming from out of town lodging is convenient as well. There are many downtown casinos that have good food and offer 24hour gaming and entertainment, Harrah's, Edorado, and the Silver Legacy are just to name a few. The casinos are great places to stay and they are all within walking distance to the Truckee River White Water Park.
So whether you live in the Reno area, or are coming from out of town you should definitely come downtown and enjoy this festival. The Reno River Festival offers up a chance to see world class kayakers, demos, and great live music. You will also experience good food, gaming and other entertainment. This festival is good for anyone no matter what age and even if you do not know anything about kayaking. This is a great way to enjoy everything that downtown Reno has to offer!
