The Reno River Festival is a Kayaking festival in Downtown Reno, Nevada. The Reno River Festival is going strong in its 4^th year. This Festival set to take place the weekend of May 10-13th. The Truckee River runs right through the heart of downtown Reno, Nevada and a kayak park have been built into a section of the river. The Kayak Park is named the Truckee River White Water Park. The Truckee River White River Park has year round access and is a total of 2,600 feet long with class 2 and 3 rapids. Surrounding the White Water Park there is Winfield Park, a great place to see live music, and to have a pick nick while watching the kayaks go by. During the festival you will also find many food vendors, booths, and a beer garden in the park. Also in the downtown area you will find shopping, antiques, eateries, coffee shops, a wine bar, a brewery, and much much more. Reno is a growing city, and has so many great things to offer!
