New Artist Wants Respect for the Ladies
KAYLA BRIANNA performed "My Name Ain't Aye" in Phoenix, AZ during the NBA-ALL Star weekend. BRIANNA performed at several block parties and at an All-Star game.
PROTÉGÉ sponsored The Basketball Block Party at the Children's Museum of Phoenix. The PROTÉGÉ party featured PROTÉGÉ, a new basketball shoe line as well as shooting clinics with NBA players. The stage featured artists like BRUTHA, CHAMILLIONAIRE, COMMON, Lil MAMA and SOULJA BOY. KAYLA BRIANNA hit the stage right after rapper COMMON and NBA legend, Kenny "The Jet" Smith squared off in a crowd rousing lyrical battle. The hyped crowd embraced the anthem chanting "Aye" whenever BRIANNA sang "My Name Ain't".
The group Brutha kept the Basketball Block Party jumping while KAYLA BRIANNA greeted fans and rushed off to an All-Star Basketball game.
To start off the D-League All- Star game KAYLA BRIANNA demonstrated her vocal skills with a soulful rendition of The Star Spangled Banner. A lively and interactive crowd welcomed her again at another block party. The ALL-STAR BLOCK PARTY drew a larger crowd where the young artists took to the stage like an old pro. The crowd anxiously participated in Brianna's call and response anthem. After her lively performance Brianna hung out back stage with family and friends to enjoy the set of KEVIN RUDOLPH.
The 10th- grader is no stranger to the stage or the spotlight. At the tender age of eight, KAYLA BRIANNA started out in musical theater with Theater Under the Stars and The Ensemble Theater in Houston, TX. As a teen, she now calls California home, and is leaning toward R & B and Pop. Brianna loves to dance but also enjoys piano and dabbles a little with the drums.

Whoa! You went to UNC?!?!?!? 02 - Kenan Flagler right here. I have been here in Chicago for a while - so if I met you before - do not be upset - bc I have been away from the UNC scene for so long. (No wonder you showed up in my MZ-TO article).
Just floating through AC to check you out. I haven't heard of her either and did not know that the D-League had an All Star Game.
