Kaylani Lei: An Interview with a Porn Goddess

Associated Content's prayers were answered, and we were able to catch a few minutes with this young lady while on set of her latest production.

Associated Content: So you too a break from filming an adult movie to talk to me? I'm flabbergasted!
Kaylani Lei: I am in hair and make-up right now, so I have plenty of time to talk! Not a problem!

AC: Are you excited to meet me in person, when you come to Philadelphia?
KL: I am thrilled to see all of my fans in Philadelphia! I can't wait to see them! Friday we are dancing, and that is so much fun! I just can't wait to see everyone! I really do love signing autographs, performing for fans in the club, and meeting people.

AC: Anything we can provide you to make your stay delightful?
KL: You don't have to do anything for me but show up and see my, although I do love my cheese steaks.

AC:You've lived all over the world, what is your favorite city?
I really like LA, I know that doesn't sound to exciting...but, I am really comfortable here. Now if you asked me where I go to vacation, that is a different story...

AC: Okay, where does one of the world's leading erotic actresses go to "relax'?
KL: I love Fiji! I love the contrast between LA and FIJI - it is amazing! We got the best treatment there ever ! I did everything there from flying helicopters to snorkeling, island hoping, jet skiing - I spent about 10 days.

AC: I am sure after filming a porn movie, you really want to relax and be away from the world...
KL:That is exactly why I liked it. So gorgeous and natural, and not LA at all.

AC: Your career has really taken off with Wicked Pictures....
KL: I love working with Wicked. I've been in the business for 6 years and with Wicked for 5 ½. They are the best. They treat you the best. You are part of a team.

AC: I hear whispers you have some hot flicks coming out soon.
KL: Yes, I am really excited about a few that are coming out soon. I am headling Michael Raven's horror movie "The Wicked." It is scary and sexy and really hot. I had a lot of fun on set and we did something that people will really enjoy and remember.

AC: Who are your favorite directors?
KL: I love all of them! I have been working Micahel Raven for years, before we both signed with Wicked. We work well together. He does beautiful movies, and most importantly you are going to look good. Your not going to look cheap or nasty. Jonathan Morgan directs funny and cute movies, that I love to be in. Stormy Daniels is a great director too.

AC: How do you pick which movies to be in? What draws you to a project?
KL: Usually the storyline, if it catches my interest. If I start to get into my character, then I can really see myself in the movie. Also, I like working with a good cast. Usually, we work with the directors to cast the movie. It is nice to know who you are working with for the film shoot, You want to know the people you are working with are cool group of people, that you are going to get along and having fun. Having sex, or performing adult acts or just acting with people that you don't like is never fun, is it? You want all good possible energy on the set. .

AC: I heard you're a huge dog lover. And I don't mean like beastality....
KL: I am a huge dog lover. Brad Armstrong, Jessica Drake, and I all went to the charity fundraiser Cuties For Canines. It was a great event. I am really into anything that has to do with dogs and animals, any animals actually. I did a photo Porn Stars For Pups, which we brought our pets in for! Anything I can do for the doggies, I will do! I have 4 pets myself. Two cats- Two dogs - they are all small! The dogs are smaller then cats.

AC: So before I hitchhike across country to begin my porn career, what advice can you give me?
KL: The advice I give people is to stay true to yourself, know your worth and don't get sucked into anything you want to do. In order to make a decision in the business, you have to really know yourself and don't be scared. Don't let people bully you around. Once you put that first movie out, it is out there...for everyone to see. If you didn't want to do a gang-bang scene or a double penetration, then don't do it. Be yourself, be an adult and be a woman. Or a man [Laughs]....
