Keep Kids Busy During Summer Vacation with Fun, Free Math Printables
Fun Printable Math Games and Puzzles for All Ages
Free Math Printables: Math Bingo
Bingo is a classic favorite among children (and even adults) of all ages. Adding math to it this summer will allow the children to learn while doing something they likely enjoy anyway. I haven't yet come across a kid who didn't like a good game of Bingo. BingoCardCreator.com has a wide selection of math subjects to choose from, even those for older kids and adults, such as calculus.
Free Math Printables: Word Math Puzzles
Help your children increase logic skills this summer while they have fun at the same time. In Word math puzzles, they must figure out which number each letter stands for in a long division problem written in letters. This is a great activity for children currently studying long division in school. CRPuzzles.com has a good collection of free word math puzzles that is updated frequently. These can be figured online or printed out.
Free Math Printables: Logic Problems
Logic problems are a great way to increase comprehension and study skills. They can help a child increase problem-solving skills over the summer that will be helpful in school and also throughout life. Logic problems are sometimes difficult to figure out, but many kids enjoy doing them. For some, it's the satisfaction of knowing they are able to complete a difficult task. For others, it's just fun. Puzzles.com has a variety of logic problems that are free to solve online or can be downloaded as free printables.
Free Math Printables: Math Challenge
Test your child on all four critical math skills during summer vacation with this fun game. Math challenge uses addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division and combines it with a crossword puzzle type grid. Children will have fun solving these equations, some not even realizing there's learning going on. WuzzlesandPuzzles.com has a good selection of free printable Math Challenge puzzles.
Free Math Printables: Assorted Math Fun
For even more mathematical fun for the summer, try out these various printable math games, puzzles, and worksheets. You may be surprised just how much kids love doing worksheets and playing math games. My kids regularly request math worksheets and printables both over the summer and throughout the school year. CyberSleuth-Kids.com has a good collection of fun math printables for all ages.
