Wedding is a memorable ceremony for everyone. But planning the wedding will let you feeling overwhelmed. No matter whom you ask the newlywed couple, couples who married for long period of time the key to successful wedding is a good planning and stay organise before your big day.

Minor things will go wrong at every wedding, to make sure you wedding goes smoothly without any major glitches and avoiding from migraine headaches, make a plan and follow your plan.

I would suggest you to get as much done as possible in the first few months so that the last few months will not be so chaotic.

Now, you are finally engaged and set a suitable date for your big day. So how to choose my wedding dresses, my wedding themes, my bridesmaid dresses, my wedding favours and where to go for my honeymoon? I am very excited but stressful, I don't know how to start?

First of all, I would like to remind you one common fault that most of the people will make. Get most of the thing done as earliest as possible, don't wait until the last three or four months to do.

Start off with getting a diary for you wedding day. Write down all your ideas or dream wedding day, start to write down the guests list and draft out a plan for the big day. Discuss your plan with your partner and setup a proper plan to execute for your big day. Avoid cramming all the planning into a short period of time. So stick to your plan and don't let your laziness ruin your big day!

You might be wondering what to put in your plan? You must state clearly on which day of the month, you want to get what done? Example, you are getting marry on December, so on April you want the location to be reserved and May the photo shooting session to be done. Make sure you stick to your plan do not let your laziness overlap you.

Initially, get some wedding magazines. Mark down you favourite dresses and wedding themes. Keep the magazine cuttings of your favourite dresses, cakes, wedding themes. After collecting all the ideas, now write on a paper and discuss with your partner and set a date to get it done.

Discussing with your partner help to eliminates confusion where some of the wedding details that you might think are not important will be important to your partner. So always sit down together to talk about everything you plan to do. Do not do everything on your own, the wedding belongs to both of you so make sure both of you involve in planning and organise the wedding. Discussion and communication between each other are the roots of successful wedding planning.

Arguments are common during the process of wedding preparation. To avoid any mishap happen, both of you need to be flexible for your wedding arrangement. Everyone will have different ideas on how you want the things to be done and every idea will be great. So do not be too rigid on your ideas, try to flexible. If you really feel not satisfy with the ideas, raise objections. Let your partner share with you the purpose of him to get things done this way. So discussion is very important during your wedding organization.

As long as you are on the track of your planning and stay organised at all the time then everything will go well. Enjoy your big day!
