Check your local newspaper and TV websites community sections for many free Christmas events. Many areas offer free musicals, Church events and more. Make a night of driving around looking at lights can be fun for the entire family.

Gift giving can be stressful not only from a cost point but finding just the right gift. Taking time to make a handcrafted gift speaks volumes! It not only shows that you care enough to take time out of your schedule but is also unique and creative. Your local libraries as well as the internet offer a variety of ideas for gifts you too can make.

With everyone getting busier and busier these days, the gift of your time can be the most precious. Where it is helping a neighbor, a loved one or a local homeless shelter, you too can make a difference with your time.
