Maintaining plants outdoors is a job and keeping them alive inside is a even bigger job, but not everybody will tend to there beloved plants outdoors in the same way that you would with the indoor plants so the keys to making your indoor plants stay alive is to water them. Water is the key word most of all water your plants everyday don't over water your plants daily but a cup or more each day would be great for any type house plant depending upon the size. Now if your plant begins to turn brown in color then that is a sign that you may be over watering your plants so less water would be needed for that particular plant. Keeping the soil moist in most house plants is very needful never allow the soil to become completely dry. It is also most important to know what type of house plant you are in search for because not all house plants live throughout the season so be very aware.

It is a good idea to check your plants over at least twice every two weeks due to different insects and pests, and fungus. Pests and insects may prevent your house plants from growing at a good pace so be sure to observe. Keeping your plants clean like removing dead leaves or if you have little children you may sometimes find toys or trash remove those items and this will also help prevent your plants for dying. Your house plant will need sunlight, most of all indoor plants need sunlight, but normally indirect sunlight never place your indoor plant in direct sunlight this could be tragic for your plant. On a back patio, a window placement area those places are both great places to keep your plant when the sun is out, but NEVER place your plant in the direct sunlight.

Your plant may show signs that it is ready to be re potted if it needs more water than it usually needs, or if you see the roots at the bottom of the pot that it is already in these two signs will let you know that your plant needs to be re potted. Your plant will not grow like it should if you do not place it in a bigger pot this is very important because it will hinder your plants growth. If you have more than one plant you need to place them all in the same area it has been known that it is very much healthier for your indoor plants to be together instead of apart. Be very aware that your indoor plants are temporary, but you can keep them healthy and give them alot of whatever they need at that particular moment and you should have a healthy beautiful house plant to enjoy.
