Keeping Your Waistline Small on Thanksgiving Day and the Aftermath

M Pears
I know that you have heard people say just looking at food makes them gain weight we all know that's a figure of speech, but sometimes around the Holiday's seeing all the great looking food will just make you feel like you have just put on 5 pounds instantly, but trust me you haven't. I used to be overweight and for that reason is the only reason why I know how to get rid of the pounds without starvation or things like fad diet, low carb, diet shakes, pills and that's not the half of what I have tried to get rid of the fat that I had.

The one and only key to losing weight sadly enough to say is to exercise and eat less. I hated to hear those words as well because I was always looking for the quick fix the ads that say lose weight over night, in your sleep, maybe in your dreams, but that is just not the way that reality goes, and believe me if you just take the time to exercise and focus more on what you are eating and how much of it you are consuming you should be okay.

Now that I have loss my weight I wouldn't dare want it to come back on, and around the holiday's can be a trying time for people like me. All the good tasting foods and deserts. Know that you can actually have any type food you want it all depends on how much of it you take in, now that's not to say that going on a snickers candy bar diet would be a wise and healthy choice, but if you stay under your recommended calorie intake and exercise you will still lose weight but in no way do i promote people doing this.

Keeping your waistline in tip top shape for the holidays can be a very hard mission to accomplish, but trust me it can be done and with ease the only tip is to don't deprive yourself of whatever it is that you are craving that is by far the worse idea ever. Only eat a very small portion of a that pie you are craving even cake and ice cream you can have some of the thanksgiving turkey and all the side dishes, but be sure to get a small portions of each food that you like. Craving for food will cause you sometimes to binge and that is just awful and it will leave you feeling as if you fail so know that craving is really a bad decision. Enjoy your thanksgiving like every one else just be more wise on how much of what you are eating Thanksgiving as well as Christmas and other holidays that you might celebrate with a big feast only comes once a year so enjoy yourself and most importantly eat and stay thin, and hit that treadmill or track the following morning on a empty stomach and the holiday food want move that scale up not one bit.
