Keith Urban and the "Escape Together World Tour" in May

Keith Urban will be kicking off his summer tour titled, Escape Together World Tour on May 7, 2009 at the Mohegan Sun Resort and Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Urban will have multiple guests on the tour (at different times and locations), with big names such as Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Zac Brown Band, Dierks Bentley, and Jason Aldean. Unlike typical tours, where others open for you, Urban has elected to rotate openers and guests on his summer tour.

The tour will open for two nights in Uncasville, Connecticut where Sugarland will be the guests. They will join Urban on 10 dates of the summer tour. The Zac Brown Band joins Urban for two May tour dates, with Dierks Bently playing two dates on May 30 and 31, 2009 in Virginia and Alabama. Taylor Swift will next join forces with Urban in June, July and August for 9 shows. Jason Aldean is scheduled for multiples dates in July and August.

This will be a fun summer tour with lots of excitement from all the different guests joining the tour. Keith Urban always puts on a great show and with this great lineup of guests, concert goers are sure to get their money's worth.

Urban's new album "Defying Gravity" hit the No. 1 spot for country albums on April 11, 2009. The album sold over 171,000 copies during the first week on the market. "Defying Gravity" took over the No. 1 spot previously held by Taylor Swift's "Fearless" album.
