The pictures on the front of the box are certainly very inviting. In addition to a very sweet and tasty looking pastry, there is a mouth watering hot fudge sundae with all the fixings right in the center. These illustrations surely entice children to ask their parents to add this item to the shopping cart. I am an adult and I was inspired to purchase this product simply by the visual appeal. The marketing department behind this packaging design definitely scored a winner with this one. I paid only $1.79 for an eight count box.
Preparation of this toaster pastry is extremely simple. After removing from the pouch, it gets placed in a toaster on the lowest heating setting for only one cycle. It should be allowed to cool for a minute or two before removal. When heating in a microwave, a mere three second cooking time is needed to thoroughly warm this breakfast treat. Special care should be taken in either method to not overheat this product. The filling and the frosting can become extremely hot and may possibly cause burns.
One pastry contains only one hundred and ninety calories. There is five grams of Total Fat, with two grams from Saturated Fat. There is no Trans Fat or Cholesterol in this product. One hundred and ninety milligrams of Sodium, thirty three grams of Total Carbohydrates and two grams of Dietary Fiber are contained in this serving size. Unfortunately, there is also twelve grams of Sugar per pastry. On the plus side of the nutritional chart, ten percent of Vitamin A, ten percent of Calcium, ten percent of Iron, and ten percent of Vitamin B6 is gained from enjoying this sweet treat.
Just as I expected, my daughter loved Kellogg's Hot Fudge Sundae Pop Tarts. I took a bite and agreed that they were very tasty. The vanilla filling beneath the chocolate covering was a great combination. The white frosting mixed with rainbow sprinkles made for a delicious outer crust. I loved how warm and gooey all the frosting became from the toaster oven. This treat was definitely a nice way to start a cold and snowy winter morning. I would not serve this to my daughter for breakfast every morning but would definitely reserve it for an occasional treat. I give this product four out of five food stars.

These pop tarts sound yummy.
Good review - they are good, but I try to stay away from Pop Tarts.

Sounds like a fun splurge. :-)
I bought these once ~ and my teen daughter hogged them all down in a matter of 2 days. There much too tempting to keep around, for sure.
