Kelly Vs. Beyonce! Who WIll Top the Charts?

The Battle is On! It's Kelly Vs. Beyonce!

So much hype is surrounded by the second runner-up of Destiny's child right now. With such a tangy and sassy beat, corresponding melody and complimenting verse by whom some consider the best rapper in the game right now, the newly hit song Motivation, by Kelly Rowland is soaring to the top of the charts at an alarming rate.

Her performance at this year's BET Award show received so much love from fans and entertainers alike, whom all wished her well and expressed their excitement for such a grand entrance with her return to the music scene. This cluster of media hype and buzz has seemed to put the number one diva in the game in second place for a change. Beyonce too performed a song from her new upcoming album titled "4", which went on sale today. Her hit single is titled Run The World Girls. Beyonce's performance was actually the grand finale of the BET Award show, as she filled the stage with her extravagant stage presence and entertaining theatrics-only as Beyonce knows, or Knowles how to do best. Despite the return of Beyonce, (aka B) with her fourth album, there hasn't been much buzz nor advertising in anticipation, and that only has to make Beyonce fans wonder if this album will even reach the top of the charts. Not until recently, has the word been spreading as it should of the superstar's new contribution to the music world.

Instead, her former stage partner and childhood friend has been receiving all of the buzz of her much anticipated album Here I Am, which will be available in stores on July 26th. She also has a second single that is soon to hit the radio air waves, titled Lay It On Me-featuring Big Sean. According to listeners in various forums around the net however, there isn't much hype surrounded by this new song. Instead, most are suggesting that the second single to come is a bit on the bland and generic side, with beats and melodies that are a bore. Hopefully, this will not be too discouraging-nor ruin any chances for the album to top the charts, amongst the already enthused fans that cannot wait to get their hands on the new album.

Some may say that there has always been competition between the two singers, in a nonchalant way, or at least that Kelly has always stood second to Beyonce, rather than alone in her own right. It has always been a Kelly vs. Beyonce kind of thing in the subconscious minds of many. Even with her own career in music, commercials and movies, it seemed to only be a fuzzy mirror image of the main pop star's legacy of destiny's child. This new hit single Motivation, however, has clearly stood out at the forefront amongst the masses, and has shown that Kelly Rowland is finally in a class by herself for a change. While also separating the Kelly vs. Beyonce spell that seemed to haunt the two for so long. The hit has rapidly climbed to the top of the charts and has already became the theme song for many, whether as a ring-tone, mp3 download, voice-mail introduction or simple tune to hum to, while both guys and girls have taken a unique likeness to the song. Perhaps the cunning and sly rap by 'lil Wayne has contributed to the male perspective of the song as being "hot!". Whatever the reason, it is a fact that Kelly is back on top. On top of the charts and on top of her music career. The question now is, who will be there for the stretch? Kelly Rowland or Beyonce Knowles?
