Post a CommentAll i can say is ur a deadbeat mother and i dont like to judge or critisize people but u should have put ur child first!!!! and because things were'nt handled like they should have she had to suffer! she was so innocent how could people on this earth just be so digusting and cold harded???? if u wanna beat on a child because u have issues with ur self go beat on someone that can fight back not a child and i hope u enjoy ur life sentence!!!!
Raye is guilty because Kelsey had morew bruises than a parent in a lifetime she should of suspected that her baby was abused by someone she ignored it and she only took Kelsey to the doctors when asked some mother read the facts and evidence not what people make up and sp-read around
I knew chose the side of Raye Dawn or Kathie Briggs,,,,I chose Kelsey's side.
By the way Cassie.....in doing my research as you call it......I noticed that Raye Dawn said when Kelsey said Daddy Mike hurt me. That she told
DHS, that kelsey was a jealous little girl. Not true,,,,that's research for ya.....
How does a parent let a man get off with a plea bargain? I believe they have that much hatred, but if all this effort to free raye dawn or to make
raye dawn pay would have been put towards Kelsey she would be here today. No matter what you say...it doesn't change the fact, that little kelsey is in a grave as we speak, now does it?
Whatever,,,, research won't help her at this point....will it? Can you bring her back?

I don't just Blame the mother. I think everyone involved needs to be in Jail. I have researched. Only God will know for sure. I have read things like they were sitting on the bed eating pizza and Mike p knocked kelsey off the bed in front of Raye Dawn. She couldn't see what was going on? What makes you the expert? Are you God? I don't believe in the Brigg's at all. I don't feel sorry for ANY of them!!! Why> Kelsey paid the ultimate price. It's Kelsey I feel for. Don't tell me what to do. Really at this point it is all over. Hey as far as I'm concerned they could all rot in hell!!!! They all could have helped her more! I believe raye dawn knew something or speculated it! How could she not, she's a mother.

God took back what he gave, because no one could take care of his child. They were all given the chance. They all failed you greatly. It's a burden I wouldn't want to carry.

Dhs and the judge,,,everyone failed Miss Kelsey, but all involved need to for once in their life put Kelsey
first if even in death, and not for the benefit to themselves, but for her. Because they owe her at least that much. They need to love her now, like they never did on earth, although it's too late for her on this earth. Maybe in heaven, she for once in her life could really feel the love from her family, if they would straighten up!!!!! I'm so glad I don't personally know any of Kelseys loved ones. I don't care what they say, if one person loved her enough and wasn't so scared of the situation at hand, she might be alive today!!!

I have been reading about the Kelsey Briggs story for awhile. This was an unfortunate situation that Kelsey was born into. At first I took the side of the bilogical father, but after reading all i have read. I think everyone involved are idiots! Kelsey didn't matter to any of them then, and still does not matter to this day.
Cathy briggs what a cold comment about kelseys purpose, I'm glad other children are being helped not one child should endure pain, but why was it kelseys purpose, I don't believe it was. Blind then and blind now. Lance,,why would a father that knows his child has been

There is absolutely no excuse for any of the abuse this small child endured. The police, the public, DHS, the families on both sides and especially the medical people should NOT have allowed this child to be returned to the home of the mother and her husband - supervised or unsupervised. Common sense should have prevailed. Children of that age DO NOT sustain injuries as frequently or as seriously as the injuries that Kelsey sustained. To know that doctors at hospitals and the child's doctor DID NOTHING to ensure that this child was removed from harm's way is very sad. They must have known that children of that age DO NOT injure themselves so frequently or so seriously. The mother, the grandparents on both sides, the so-called medical professionals, the case workers from DHS, the lawyers, the judge, neighbours, etc. They are all to blame for not protecting this child. You do not have to be a rocket scientist to know that even a child with mobility/equilibrium/birth defects, and
